Satellite Test Chamber

Lindstrand Technologies was approached by Alenia to design and build a mobile chamber capable of detecting leak rates from rocket motors in the latest Alenia built radar satellites. 

The satellite rocket motor was pressurised to 30 bar and placed into the hermetically sealed chamber.  Lindstrand’s helium leakage test machine, the only one of its the kind in the world, accurately measured the leakages against the known calibrated loss rate of helium from the chamber.
