Who would have thought flying a Lindstrand envelope could be so lucky…. we suggest you all go out and buy lottery tickets!!

Thanks to Exclusive Ballooning for a fantastic weekend.

Santa Clause has been to Lindstrand early this year, and has brought us a new CNC Miller and CNC Lathe by Haas. These are very exciting pieces of equipment and a great addition to our engineering department. It will allow for a whole host of items to be machined in house, and great for prototyping.

We think these machines are going to be kept very busy!

Recently delivered Lindstrand Series 1 – 105 for Holland. This balloon is for a great cause and we cant wait to see this flying at meets throughout Europe next year.

It’s here our new burner. Designed in partnership with our friends at Lindstrand Balloons USA

Mr and Mrs Lindstrand arrived at the Gaspol international youth balloon fiesta at Rypin. The team are there for the weekend supporting this wonderful event getting the younger generation involved!

Introducing the Lindstrand Series Racer at the Gaspol international youth balloon festival in Rypin. The beautiful balloon will be taking to the skies very soon.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s a… camper van flying through Shropshire skies

People could be forgiven for doing a double take after spotting this balloon – carrying a Bedford Rascal camper van – in the skies above Shropshire.

Lindstrand Technologies were asked to launch the balloon by Channel 4 for the programme Helluva Tour, to be aired exclusively on its digital platform All 4 this Autumn.

It flew for a couple of hours, closely followed by a helicopter for filming, before landing near Ellesmere.

Helluva Tour, which will consist of 10 five-minute episodes, will follow a cast of four strangers as they take the road trip of a lifetime from London to Australia.
